NK Relay Projects

New Futuro

New Futuro is an education start-up with a mission to help Latino students to successfully apply and enroll in college. NK Relay supported New Futuro by engaging multi-sector partners to execute education workshops and the 2012 New Futuro Education Summit at Navy Pier. Through NK Relay's support, New Futuro surpassed its goal of 10,000 event attendees.

Strive For College

Strive for College is an on-line mentoring platform that allows high school students to connect with mentors based on shared interests. NK Relay supported Strive for College by launching and managing Strive for College's partnership with Chicago Public Schools. Through NK Relay's support, Strive was able to engage over 700 CPS students.

Hispanic Alliance for Career Enhancement

The Hispanic Alliance for Career Enhancement (HACE) is a non-profit organization with a mission to positively impact the American workplace by cultivating the pipeline of Latino talent. NK Relay supported HACE by: developing curriculum for its El Futuro Program, launching the new El Futuro Program in Chicago Public Schools, and organizing El Futuro's first STEM Career Conference. Through NK relay's support, HACE was able to surpass its student goal by working with over 1,200 CPS students in the 2016-2017 school year.
